Bang! The Dice Game whisks players to the Wild West, where each person takes on a secret role as the Sheriff, Deputy, Outlaw, or Renegade, each with their own hidden agenda. This fast-paced game, ideal for 3-8 players, involves dice rolling, secret identities, and sudden gameplay twists, making it a thrilling group activity. Here are the rules for 3 players.

Setup: Each player receives a secret role card including the Deputy, an Outlaws, and a Renegade. A Deputy wins if they eliminate the Renegade, an Outlaw wins by defeating the Deputy, and the Renegade wins by eliminating the Outlaw.

Gameplay: Players take turns rolling five dice, poker-style, up to three times, choosing which to keep with each roll. You can re-roll up to three times just like Yatzee.

The dice outcomes determine actions:

• Crosshairs cause shots to be fired at other players.
• Beer provides health to players.
• Dynamite locks the die and can end a player’s turn prematurely if three are rolled (also lose 1 health).
• Arrows force players to take an arrow token
• Gatling allows a player to attack everyone else, while getting rid of their arrows.

One thing that adds a nice dimension to the game is the character. This gives the player special abilities that are very useful. There are a few examples above.

During a play through with my friends, I assumed the role of the Deputy. Initially, I rolled two Bullets, a Beer, an Arrow, and a Dynamite. Keeping the Bullets and Beer, I re-rolled the Arrow and Dynamite, ultimately managing to heal myself and take three shots at the Renegade.

The game proceeds until one faction fulfills their win condition. Strategy lies in deducing others’ roles and deciding when to heal, attack, or hold fire. Each player’s turn can drastically alter the state of play, keeping everyone on their toes until the game’s dramatic conclusion. This goes on until health is gone.

Each time someone rolls an Arrow, they get an arrow immediately, and then they have the option of re-rolling. Once all 8 Arrows are assigned, it means there is an attack. This means that each player with Arrows looses that much health. So if they have 4 Arrows, they loose 4 health. There are ways to lose arrows. If you roll 3 Gatlin dice, then you lose all of your arrows and all other players take 1 damage.
