Living Room 500 – Privacy policy
Effective date: August 20, 2026 · Developer: GameShoutOut · privacy@gameshoutout.com
The short version
Living Room 500 collects no personal information from anyone – child or adult. None. The game has no ads, no in-app purchases, no accounts, no analytics, and no ability to connect to the internet. Everything happens on your device and stays there.
What the game collects
Nothing. Living Room 500 does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information, including:
- No names, email addresses, or account information
- No location data
- No device identifiers or advertising identifiers
- No photos, contacts, microphone, or camera access
- No gameplay analytics, crash reports, or usage statistics
The game cannot go online
The app requests no permissions from your device at all – not the network or internet permission, not storage, not anything else. It cannot make network connections of any kind, even in the background. It works fully offline, including in airplane mode.
No ads, no purchases, no links
The game contains no advertising of any kind, no in-app purchases, and no links that lead outside the game. There is no way for a child to spend money or leave the app by tapping the screen.
What is saved on your device
The game keeps one small settings file on your device only. It holds:
- Progress – which circuits and cars have been unlocked, and the best lap time recorded on each circuit.
- Preferences – sound on or off, and which circuit, car, and mode were chosen last, so the game opens where you left it.
- An interrupted race – if the tablet sleeps or closes the app mid-race, the game notes where the cars were so the race can be picked up again. It is replaced by the next race and cleared when a race finishes.
This file contains no personal information, never leaves your device, and is deleted when you uninstall the game. There is no cloud save and no way to transfer it to another device.
Children’s privacy
Living Room 500 is suitable for all ages, including young children, and this policy is written with that in mind. Because the game collects no personal information and has no online functionality, it does not collect personal information from children as defined by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) or similar laws. There is nothing to consent to, opt out of, request a copy of, or delete – we simply hold no data about you or your child.
Changes to this policy
If a future update ever changes what the game does with data, we will update this policy before that version is released and revise the effective date above. Given the game’s design, we do not anticipate this.
