ThoughtFulls: Tiny Gifts That Make Big Moments

Thoughtfuls card

Every now and then, I like to share a little treasure that is not a board game, but still belongs in the same world of kindness, connection, and joy. ThoughtFulls, by Compendium, are one of those treasures. Each box comes with thirty of these small folded cards(about 2 x 2 inches) each with an uplifting message tucked inside.

There are boxes for all kinds of themes like encouragement, friendship, hope, and bravery. I usually pick up the more general ones that come in packs of four. I go through them quickly because I give them away almost as often as I read them myself.

I keep a few in my bag, coat pocket, or tucked in my journal. You never know when someone might need a quiet reminder that they matter. More than once, I have handed one to a stranger in a cafe or a tired-looking passerby. I usually just say, “Thanks, this is for you.” The real magic happens when they realize they can open it. Watching someone’s face light up, even for a few seconds, feels like a shared moment of peace in a world that often rushes past.

The cards have a removable top slip with bold little reminders. One of my favorites just says, You’re awesome. I leave those in my car or stuck to the mirror. Sometimes, I need the reminder too. Notice the adorable perforations on the left.

Another lovely thing about these cards is the blank space on the back. It is just the right size to write a note. I often use them as gift tags. A small message of hope or celebration makes a present feel more personal and heartfelt. This image of the gift tag is from Compendium’s site; isn’t it adorable.

These little cards are not games, but they carry the same spirit. They bring joy. They spark connection. They remind us that kindness does not need to be loud or grand. Sometimes, it only takes a little gift and a moment to show you care.

Have you ever received a message just when you needed it most? Or shared one with someone else? I would love to hear about it.
