The Resistance is a game where trust is a currency and deception is a way of life, a social deduction game that becomes a thrilling battleground where rebels fight for freedom and spies spin their webs. From the moment the roles are assigned each player adopts a poker face, hiding their loyalty behind careful smiles and calculated words. Here are some examples of the cards.

The air is thick with accusations, deflections, and strategic silence. Are you the quiet one biding your time or the vocal player trying to steer suspicions away from your fellow spies? Every vote carries weight and every decision could lead to victory or betrayal.

Players are secretly assigned roles as either members of The Resistance, the good guys, or Spies working for the oppressive government, the bad guys. The number of spies depends on the total number of players, ranging from five to ten. More players mean more spies. A leader token is given to the first leader, and the leader position rotates clockwise after each mission.
Each round begins with the leader selecting a team for a mission. All players vote on whether they approve or reject the leader’s proposed team. If the team is rejected leadership passes to the next player.

Approved teams receive two cards each, one for Success and one for Fail. Resistance members must always choose Success, but spies can play either card to sabotage the mission. If even one Fail card is played the mission fails; otherwise it succeeds.
To win the game, if the Resistance completes three successful missions out of five they win, but if the spies sabotage three missions they win.
Whether you are a mastermind spy or a cunning rebel, The Resistance will stir lively debates and bring players closer together or tear them apart. The game turns each round into a story worth telling and leaves you eagerly anticipating the next mission.
